Eid-ul-Azha which is also know as 'Bakra Eid' is on its way after the celebration of Meethi Eid (Eid-ul-Fitr).


Eid-ul-Azha is the festival of Muslims celebrated every year following the the Hajj prayer which is the largest religious pilgrimage in Makkah. After the moon sighting of Zil-Hajj. Muslim started to perform the hajj rituals in makkah from the 1st of Zil-Hajj and the Hajj rituals complete on 10th of Zil-Hajj at which Muslims from all over the world sacrifices animals like lamb, goat, cow etc. after performing eid prayers.
Once the prayers are done, all the Muslims exchange greetings by hugging each other and wishing Eid Mubarak. Later, all the family gather on breakfast which usually starts off with a sweet preparation, mainly kheer, Sheer Khurma or Sivayan

The main attraction of the festivals are meals. Therefore, I am sharing some of my favorite Bakra Eid meal for you that is easy to cook and is apt for this occasion and hope my dear readers would like to  try and taste these yummy recipes of Eid fest.

These melt in mouth  shami kababs taste heaven when served with , green mint and coriander sauce and sliced onion rings. They form perfect appetizer for any party or festivals. and best part is they can be freeze for a good amount of time. Go through this delicious recipe from Here.
