Well, Who has the time to prep forever for vacation? It's really time taking to make sure that your products are in TSA friendly little bottles under 100 ml. But when there is the matter of you’re your skin its pretty imperative that you would pack all your necessary skincare routine with you.
So, How I
started to deal with my breakouts during holiday travel. Here are some tips I
am sharing which help me to keep my skin clear, hydrated and glowing.
- Pack
according to the climate
Grab all
the basis of your skin care and make sure that your skin is well-cared through
climate and time zone.
- Moisturizer
When i am
getting ready for a flight, i apply
intense moisturizer the night before it. This will help my skin to keep
hydrated before my skin is going exposed to the dehydration effects of jet
pressure and climate of other countries.
- Soothe
your eyes puffiness
Don't
forget to pack the eye drops in your backpack. As tiredness and flight made
your eyes look dull and tired and puffy. To reduce its use eye drops and you
can also put crushed ice in a washcloth and apply it under the eyes. It's an
automatic wake-up call that makes you look and feel immediately awaken.
- A
cleanser is a must-have of skin care
If I can
only take one skin care item from home, IT will be my cleanser. A sudden change
in your cleansers can damage skin's acid balance and cause a vacation breakout.
- Smear the
Hand Cream
Never
leave home without a tube of your favorite hand cream in your tote bag, and use
it liberally throughout the trip. By doing this you won't lose the suppleness
and hydration and moisture of your hand as you will need to wash your hand much
time during flight while traveling. it can help counter the effects of harsh
commercial-grade soaps found in public restrooms.
- I tend to
go for a Natural Look during travel
I will
try to keep my makeup as less and as natural as possible while traveling. This
will help me to keep my makeup bag light and the most significantly, fewer
chances of break out if forget to wash makeup off or very tired to remove it
during the night.
The
basics I pack in my holiday make-up bag are :
- Concealer
- kajal
- Blusher
- Mascara
- Eyebrow Shaper
- Lip balm/gloss
- Facial
Wipes:
Facial
wipes are your skin savior during holidays. When you are exploring your travel
destination all day long or having a long hours flight these wipes keep you
feeling clean and fresh face.
- SPF 50 or More
Don’t
ever go out with this skin guard even on winter or cloudy days. I personally
prefer SPF 30 or more as it allows me to nix oily skin after a long flight, and
doubles as protection from the sun. My favorites are ALTRUIST dermatologist SPF
50 in creamy form and when I need to reapply it I will go for Mineral sunscreen
broad spectrum SPF 30.
